The location
A few steps away from Canal St Martin, near the Seine river, where a harbour (Port de Plaisance de l'Arsenal) shelters a few boats, near Bastille's crowd of little restaurants and cafes, and its modern Opera House. Le Marais and famous Place des Vosges are just over Bastille, barely 15 to 20 minutes away by foot.
Also not far from Gare de Lyon for those who like escapades in the the south (Marseille is now just 3 hours away by TGV, Lyon is 2 hours away)
The apartment
Recently renovated with artsy colors, it offers :
- a spacious living/dining room giving on a quiet courtyard, bright (facing west), with wooden floor, a sofa and a comfortable arm chair, a large flat screen TV, a computer network including an Apple computer and a DSL high speed access to Internet, a nice large wooden dining table
- a bedroom with a double bed, and a large cupboard, giving on rue de Lyon but with double glasing the windows are a good isolation
- a modern shower room with a washing machine and a separate dryer
- a kitchen offering rather complete equipment : refrigerator with freeze compartment, induction electrical heaters, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, an Italian expresso coffee machine.
All windows have double glasing. Very good quality flat overall, with the charm of well renovated typically Parisian apartments.
Availability
Rather for short term stays (usually less than a month, sometimes more.)
Availability to be reconfirmed shortly before each reservation.
All-in rates
Depend upon the length of stay.
Usually a non refundable, firm reservation deposit will be required.
As usual in France, a refundable safety deposit will also be required, it is usually refunded in full upon departure without damage in the flat and no missing key or invcentory item.
